OUR SELECTION
Chosen by the Maison Mâconnaise des Vins, which has been using its terroir Burgundian expertise to help its selection since 1958
The entire region is brought together here, at the same counter — it is from this overview that the selection is born.
What the House retains, it serves at its table and makes it taste its own. caveau
The good agreement ⌄
Around the glass
Served on ice in a small liqueur glass to appreciate its full texture. The cold makes the liqueur tighter; the apricot arrives round before the acidic tip. One glass is enough at the end of the meal; it is denser than it seems.
Agreements
A plate of soft-paste cheeses (brie, camembert)
A tart or clafoutis with apricot jam
A half-cooked foie gras, for the sweet-acidic contrast
Occasions
A digestif after the meal
A twisty liqueur in a cocktail among friends
A delicious gift to give
The Maison and its expertise ⌄
Romanèche-Thorins, Saône-et-Loire
Romanèche-ThorinsSince 1891, the Jacoulot House has been distilling spirits according to a know-how passed down from generation to generation, today carried on by the Vançon family.
Development
Each variety ripens for several months and is then distilled separately: the flesh provides its texture, the kernels their almond-like aromas.
Origin of the ingredients
Berognon and Sefora apricots, macerated separately for several months before distillation: the flesh for its texture, the seeds for their almond notes
