Bissey-sous-Cruchaud Côte Chalonnaise • Burgundy
Côte ChalonnaiseFounded in 1928 by Dr. Ozanon, the Cave de Bissey is the oldest cooperative in the Côte Chalonnaise, bringing together about thirty winegrowers.
Vineyard
Pinot Noir comes from the most exposed slopes of the Côte Chalonnaise, on clay-limestone soils. This exposure gives ripe grapes, which gives rise to this concentrated style.
From the vine to the glass
Aging in oak barrels to give body and structure. This process of aging in wood also explains the hint of spices in the mouth.
