Wineries of Buxy
The council of caveau
A Pinot Noir from the Côte Chalonnaise, aged in barrels and oak casks
For a Burgundian fondue with friends, or a cheese platter that has character. This Pinot Noir has enough structure to stand up to meat in sauce. The ideal size for a dinner for two, without opening a large bottle.
This wine also goes well with our dishes — you can find it in the restaurant
In case of exhaustion of a vintage, the next one will be offered, unless otherwise indicated in the order.

The good agreement ⌄
Around the glass
It has a well-balanced character without ever complicating things, glass after glass. The red fruit and the smoky note come together, the finish remains fresh. Sixteen degrees instead of eighteen: it gains in clarity.

Buxy Côte Chalonnaise • Burgundy
Côte ChalonnaiseFounded in 1931 by 98 pioneering winemakers, the Cave des Vignerons de Buxy is one of the oldest cooperatives in Burgundy, with 120 families involved.
Vineyard
Pinot Noir grows between Buxy and Saint-Gengoux, on very rocky clay-limestone soils. These stones store the heat of the day and accelerate the ripening of the grapes
From the vine to the glass
Winemaking in stainless steel tanks, then aging in oak barrels and foudres. This passage in wood brings these smoky notes and structure in the mouth.
