Beaujolais-Lancié Blanc 2023
Domaine des Nugues
The council of caveau
A Chardonnay from Beaujolais, a rarity in the country of Gamay
For an extended dinner aperitif with friends, featuring shrimp and fresh goat cheese on the table. Served very fresh, it also pairs well with the discussions and the meal that follows. The white wine is always served when the evening continues.
In case of exhaustion of a vintage, the next one will be offered, unless otherwise indicated in the order.

The good agreement ⌄
Around the glass
Light and discreet, it is not even visible until the bottom of the bottle. The zesty acidity holds the attack and the finish remains long without weighing down. Nine degrees: it is equally suitable as an aperitif or as the start of a meal.
Agreements
Crustaceans — the vivacity of the wine awakens the flesh
Poisson — the freshness of the wine marries with simplicity
Fresh goat’s cheese — the acidity of the wine matches that of the cheese
Occasions
The white wine to open with for an aperitif that sets the evening off well
The bottle that you bring without making a mistake, as a guest
White to go for a light meal, without having to think too long
The estate and its wine ⌄
Lancié Beaujolais • Burgundy
BeaujolaisIn 1976, Gérard Gelin bought the Clos des Nugues, which gives its name to the estate. His son Gilles took over the management alone in 2010.
Vineyard
The Chardonnay variety grows in Lancié, between Morgon and Fleurie Moulin-à-Vent, on clay-limestone soil. Young vines, selected by mass selection, for greater freshness and precision.
From the vine to the glass
Slow fermentation, a month at low temperature, to preserve the fruit and flowers. Fermentation on fine lees provides fat and length.
