Maranges Red 2024
Domaine Claude Nouveau
The council of caveau
The Maranges village of Domaine Claude Nouveau, vinified with the same care as the 1st cru
For a coq au vin, or grilled red meat with pepper. This Maranges has the fruit and spice to make a red wine that has a lot of character. The red wine to drink when you want a real Burgundy Pinot Noir, without breaking the bank.
This wine also goes well with our dishes — you can find it in the restaurant
In case of exhaustion of a vintage, the next one will be offered, unless otherwise indicated in the order.

OUR SELECTION
Chosen by the Maison Mâconnaise des Vins, which has been using its terroir Burgundian expertise to help its selection since 1958
The entire region is brought together here, at the same counter — it is from this overview that the selection is born.
What the House retains, it serves at its table and makes it taste its own. caveau
The good agreement ⌄
Around the glass
Its spicy grain has a response, without ever taking itself too seriously. The plum and raspberry set the tone; the pepper marks the end of the taste. Fifteen degrees: served too hot, the pepper turns bitter.
Agreements
Coq au vin — the fruit of the wine meets the sauce
Red meat with pepper — the spice of wine goes well with pepper
Braised pork — the structure of the wine holds the sauce
